Abstract

The present study is conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between the usage of what’ s App and Telegram Social Networks and Life Style of social science branch. The research method is practical and of survey-descriptive kind. Research population includes all the social science Students (960) in Tehran's Islamic Azad University, Research and Science branch. Using Cochran formula 274 Students were chosen as sample through simple random sampling method. Measuring tools are standard questionnaire of Life Style (LSQ) with 70 questions and the researcher-made questionnaire of Social Networks whit 20 questions which are prepared based on Likert scale. Questionnaires’ validity and reliability were confirmed by experts and Chronbach's alpha coefficient respectively. The results showed that, there is a significant reverse relationship between usage of what’ s App and Telegram Social Networks and the quality of all aspects of Students' Life Style in Tehran's Islamic Azad University. it means that, by increasing the use of what’ s App and Telegram Social Networks, the quality of all aspects of Students’ lifestyle is reduced.
