Abstract

IN FRENCH: La parution du premier roman de J. M. G. Le Clé zio, Le Procè s-verbal, en 1963, synchronise avec l’ é panouissement de la litté rature postmoderne où la dimension ontologique devient pré pondé rante. Ce roman de Le Clé zio fait é cho à ce contexte litté raire, en incarnant cette particularité à travers le processus cognitif de son protagoniste cherchant à trouver sa position propre dans le monde. Dans cet article, afin de savoir comment le personnage leclé zien vit l’ existence dans le sens philosophique du terme, nous tenterons d’ explorer la porté e ontologique de cet ouvrage. Pour ce faire, dans un premier temps, nous considé rerons le protagoniste dans son faisceau de relations avec le monde, ce qui nous amè nera à é tudier ses interactions d’ ordre intellectuel, é motionnel et social avec ce dernier. Cet examen nous ré vè lerait les moyens de connaissance de l’ ê tre adopté s par le personnage. Dans un second temps, nous nous pencherons de plus prè s sur les modalité s de la prise de conscience ontologique du protagoniste. Cette é tude nous permettrait de mieux connaî tre la perception de l’ auteur de l’ ê tre humain et de son statut dans le monde. IN ENGLISH: The publication of the debut novel of J. M. G. Le Clé zio, The Interrogation, in 1963, synchronizes with the flourishing of postmodern literature where the ontological dimension becomes preponderant. This novel of Le Clé zio echoes this literary context, embodying this particularity through the cognitive process of its protagonist seeking to find his own position in the world. In this article, in order to know how leclezian character lives existence in the philosophical sense of the term, we will try to explore the ontological scope of this novel. In order to do this, we will initially consider the protagonist in his bundle of relations with the world, which will lead us to study his intellectual, emotional and social interactions with it. This examination would reveal the means of knowledge of being adopted by the character. In a second step, we will look more closely at the modalities of the ontological awareness of the protagonist. This study would allow us to better understand the author's perception of the human being and his status in the world.
