ASSESSMENT OF EXHAUSTION RATE FOR TISSUE QUARTERS OF ZONE 3 IN THE CITY OF ISFAHAN AND RESIDENTS PARTICIPATION STATUS IN THE ORDERING PROCESS

Abstract

 One of the most important issues for the urban tissue is exhaustion which is more sensible in old and historic districts in cities. The topic of identifying Index of EXHAUSTED TISSUEs and determining the exhaustion rate in ORDERING them has special importance. Moreover, residents participation in the ORDERING process, implementation and success of plans is effective. The zone 3 of Isfahan, as a historical tissue with an area of approximately 300 acres of exhaustion tissue, is studied in this research. The research methodology is descriptive-analytical and analytical hierarchy process is applied in analysis process. The purpose of this research is prioritizing and ranking the quarters in terms of exhaustion rate and the status of residents willingness to PARTICIPATE in the ORDERING process. In order to achieve this purpose, new indexes have been assessed. The results show that in terms of exhaustion rate Joybareh and Ahmadabad quarters ranked first and 8th, respectively. Ahmadabad and Naghsh-e-Jahan quarters have the highest and lowest willingness for participation in the ORDERING process, respectively.
