CAUSAL MODEL OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, PERFORMANCE AND ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING

Abstract

 The study examines the relationship between components of emotional intelligenc( self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management) and ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING, also the relationship between components of EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE and ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE in Shiraz Water Organization. The purpose of the study in terms of applied research and field work research branch, in terms of time and in terms of data collected is cross correlation. The study population included all employees of the Water Organization in Shiraz in 1395 and a sample of 169 employees who were the availability of individuals will be selected. Measuring tools research were Bradberry and Greaves EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE questionnaire, Gomez ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING questionnaire, Mousavijad ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE. SPSS and LISREL are two software that using for both descriptive and inferential data analysis. The result showed a significant and positive correlation self-awareness and ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING, a significant and positive correlation relationship management and ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING, a significant and positive correlation self-awareness and ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE, a significant and positive correlation relationship management and ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE. There are no significant relationship between two other components ( self-management and social awareness) and ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING and ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE. In other words two components of EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE ( self-awareness and relationship management) predict ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING and ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE.
