Abstract

 Polycystic ovary syndrome (pcoS) is an endocrine disease that related to several risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. life style modifications are successfully applied to treat women with polycystic ovary syndrome.111e aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of a 3- month exercise training program on luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle - stimulating hormone (FSH) and OVARIAN MORPHOLOGY in young peas females.twelve young femeles with peas (age 22 yr, BMI: 26.89 kg/m2, Vo2max: 28.60 ml/kg/min).under took aerobic exercise with 70%-75% HRR, 30 min and 3 times a week ergometer. ovarian volume and semm concentrations of LH and FSH were measured before and after 3-month structured exercise training program. A significant reduction in LH levels and ovarian volume and significant improvement in Vo2max. no significant differences in FSH levels and LH/FSH ratio have been observed (P value<0.05). The results showed that 3 - month exercise training program lead to changes significant ovarian volume and LH levels in peas patients.
