Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the objective and subjective components of ETHNICITY with political participation in the east of Golestan province (with emphasis on the ELECTIONs to the Islamic Consultative Assembly). The research method and statistical population of all individuals over the age of 18 are above of the three nations: Fars, Turkmen and Sistani. Multi-stage cluster random sampling method and data collection tool were used for data analysis. T-test, variance analysis, multivariate regression, and correlation coefficients and path analysis were used. The results of the research show that there is significant relationship between the objective components (level of education, lack of discrimination in access to management, attention to comments) with the amount of political participation exists between subjective factors (ETHNICITY, respect for the elite, and respect for elders) there is a significant correlation with the level of political participation. The research hypotheses were also examined by adding the role of gender variable and ETHNICITY. As a result, the relationship between objective and subjective components with the amount of political participation has a significant relationship.
