Abstract

The significance of GLOBALIZATION process is determined to be a dynamic development in the world’s society’s economic relations in current decades that appear in inputs such as FDI, foreign trade. These questions remain what the economic growth influence on social contexts and promote the quality of life in the human societies. This study used time series database from 1982-2012 of Iran based on a documentary and historical research of Iran. The findings demonstrate the effects of FDI on foreign trade. The rise of GDP and economic growth rate of Iran is accompanied by the inflection that these results are due to petroleum and other raw materials sales, not from investment in different sectors of society. The estimates suggest that the above SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT indices of Iranian society are relatively improved by two components: HEALTH index, EDUCATION index during the past three decades. But these estimates suggest that per capita income index of Iranian society is not a considerable improvement in the past three decades. So, we can see a very weak trend in decreasing GINI coefficient Richest 10% to Poorest 10% after the revolution in Iran, but this decreasing is not considerable and idea.
