Abstract

The history of Iran’ s Fiction is a book that tries to do research on Iran’ s Fiction and its genres as Novel, Short Story, etc. It tries to show their evolution by review on their sources and historical background (folk tales, itinerary, diaries, etc. ). The writer has written about the kind of Novel as historical or detective Novel. However, there are some defects too. These defects include structural defects (as distribution of content) and the methodology. The methodology (evolutionist methodology) itself causes some defects, too, such as ignoring some genres as itinerary and diaries and enabling from expressing the reason of some innovations. A research on the content causes some questions, too. The questions that are left with no answer, or unsatisfactory answers.
