Abstract

Objectives: The present article aims to analyses the content of PRAYER as a psychological foundation. Method: The method of the survey is content analysis of verses related to PRAYERs in the holly QURAN in three phases. the method in classifying the verses into 15 categories is heuristic and inductive Results: The result of the present article summarizes the holly QURAN point of view on the life of PRAYER in six following items. Pure servitude, honesty, [god] fearing, rationality, good deeds, keeping away [from sins]. Conclusion: The PRAYER form is indicator of the relationship of PRAYER foundation and the life of PRAYER in QURAN view. In this way the FAITH is indicated in three aspects: the relation with Allah (servitude), truth (truth-centeredness), and reality (responsibility).
