Abstract

 Objectives: The feelings like HOMESICKNESS may lead to anxiety, depression, and alcohol and drug Abuse addiction and even to commit suicide in some cases. The present study aims at investigating the effectiveness of teaching the SEPARATION THESIS OF SELF on university girl students, HOMESICKNESS. Method: The method of the study is pretest and post test plan with control group. The statistical community of the research includes all girl students in allameh Tabatabaee University (academic year: 91) and cluster random sampling is applied. The data collection tool was questionnaire consisting HOMESICKNESS questions. Result: The results of the survey based on covariance analysis indicate a significant relationship between training the SEPARATION THESIS OF SELF on HOMESICKNESS (p<0.05). Conclusion: The authors of the article conclude teaching the SEPARATION THESIS OF SELF _as a suitable Consulting and training method_ will decrease the feelings like HOMESICKNESS among university girl students.
