Abstract

There is no doubt that Jalaled in Mohammad Molvavi is one of the most famous Persian poets. He is well known for his great book "Masnavi". So much was written about this book but because of the variety of topics and subjects there is still more to say. One of these points of discussion is images of expression in the introduction of MASNAVI which reflect Molana’s DIDACTIC views. MOLAVI used these expressions to talk about moral and religious issues in a clever way. These images are so vast; therefore, only two of them SIMILE and METAPHOR are used a lot and will be discussed here.
