Abstract

Iranian society is classified as developing, periphery, dependent and the like. All of these concepts indicate a different look at the Iranian society from a special theoretical point of view. They have taken into account the relationship with the west and modernity, and based on this view they have come up with the characteristics like dependability in the non-western world. The influence of the west on Iranian society has been an important factor in shaping the modern Iran. Therefore, understanding this relationship helps for understanding of Iranian society. Conceptualization of facing the west with different methods is necessary for understanding societies like Iran. The present article emphasizes the necessity for emergence of novel concepts and discovery of their varied consequences on the Iranian society. This article considers the HYBRID REALITY of Iranian society in the process of globalization.
