Abstract

VERTIGO and IMBALANCE are common problems that may affect many aspects of patients’ life. DIZZINESS HANDICAP INVENTORY is an instrument for physical, emotional and functional assessment of these patients and frequently used in research and clinical setting. This questionnaire is quite helpful for patients’ assessment and follow-up. In this review article, considering all of the translations, different psychometric properties especially in Persian language will be discussed. The DHI showed high validity, reliability and internal consistency, however, factor analysis showed different results.
