Abstract

In this article, an important portion of Quran verses and Islamic narrations is investigated from nonverbal communications via an analytic and comparative approach. Nonverbal communication which is an important field in SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY and human communication consists of all messages that human beings send in INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS and mainly in face to face interaction via signs and non-linguistic signals. This study shows Islamic cultural doctrines were aware of the importance and role of NONVERBAL BEHAVIOR and emphasized it from many centuries ago. However, teaching police officers about the NONVERBAL BEHAVIOR has an indispensable role in developing police organization.
