Abstract

Many scholars basically believe that the importance of urban area is based on the relationship with the social strategies, social structure refining, human-emotionalquality in society, people’s active life, political activities and safe and healthy urban living. In this research, relationship of education, sex and different age ranges of Gorgan’s citizens with effective factors on residents’ SATISFACTION of AZAR5 STREET of Gorgan has been studied using SPSS SOFTWARE. The results show that there is a meaningful relationship among age ranges, canals, streams and control of flowing water, traffic and transportation, bus station and playground for both children and adults. This meaningfulness will be brighter among under-18-year old people. The results showed that there is a meaningful relationship just between the education level and the type of pavement flooring and also among various sexes and canals, streams, and control of flowing water. Friedman test was used in order to determine the most and the least important effective factors on citizens’ SATISFACTION. This research was led to the recognition of the citizens’ needs by age, sex and education level and helped programmers and designers to do their bests to increase the citizens’ SATISFACTION.
