Abstract

This is a comprehensive scientific research to determine the demographic factors affecting the tendency to use SYNTHETIC DRUGS, especially crack, glass and ecstasy among the students of the faculty of humanities in Islamic Azad university of Kerman, with the aim of controlling and preventing this social problem through the use of "Bourdieu" theoretical framework derived from theories of "Hirsch", "Merton" and "Sutherland". The methodology of the study is a survey and the data are collected through a questionnaire. 368 students were used as sample of study through stratified sampling method. The data were shown in the tables and graphs. The relationships between the data were analyzed through correlation coefficients and multivariate stepwise regression. The findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between the tendency of using the SYNTHETIC DRUGS as a dependent variable and family disputes, RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, policies, strategic plans and frustration as independent variables.
