Abstract

In this study, the affective factors on female labor participation rate have been investigated, particularly; effect of human capital has been emphasized. To achieve this, PANEL DATA is used for women older than 15 years old for developing Islamic 8 counties covering the period of 1990 and 2010. This paper utilizes some variables such as school enrollment in different levels, unemployment rate, fertility rate, gross domestic production. The most important results show the significant and positive impact of education on female labor participation rates and the fertility and unemployment have negative effect on independent variable. Model estimation’s result implies "Feminization U" hypothesis between the economic growth and FEMALE PARTICIPATION RATE.
