Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study is to measure the image of the host destination sports EVENT.Methodology: Descriptive approach and purpose of the survey was applied among research was a survey research method. The population of all students in physical education and state universities in KERMANSHAH via stratified random sampling and the information was collected. Due to the large volume sample dispersion and to ensure the generalizability of the findings, 400 people had responded to the questionnaire. To collect data was using Bayon et al (2010) questioner. To examine reliability using CONFIRMATORY FACTOR ANALYSIS was performed using the Amos. In this study, descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as regression to determine the impact on the image of host city to provide the final research model, structural equation modeling was used.Results: The results showed that four factors including attractiveness, cost, infrastructure and pleasure of travel had a significant effect on the image of the host city.Conclusion: therefore, strengthening and infrastructure development, the introduction of the attractions of the province, creating development opportunities for fun and excitement of participants and sports TOURISM, offer discounts and incentives for tourists sports TOURISM, reduce costs, and participants in sporting EVENTs, rebuilding and renovating gymnasiums and sports facilities can be have positive effecting on KERMANSHAH image.
