Abstract

In recent decades many schools and movements have emerged in the field of architecture and urban ism apparently having roots in philosophy. Architectural and Urbanizational style affected by Post Modern School is one ot the most important and over whelming movements which have had a wide expansion during the recent years having appealed to many architects and Urban developers. The present paper intially intends to explore the philosophical roots of Modernism and Post modernism, later bringing forth the different aspects of each in the domain of architeture and urbanism. Deconstru ctien and post post modernism is further taken under consideration in this paper.
