Abstract

Considering the recurring military threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran on the part of the arrogant system, this article has been written in order to explore the role that the soft elements of the Islamic Revolution play in preventing the domination system from launching a military offensive against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This research is aimed at explaining the role that the factors of the Islamic Republic of Iran’ s soft power plays in preventing the domination system from starting a military offensive against the Islamic Republic of Iran, where in order to answer the main question in this research and explain the role that the factors of IRI’ s soft power play in preventing the domination system from launching a military offensive against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the required information were collected using library method and doing field work where a questionnaire comprising of 28 people was developed with an all count sampling method. Finally, a conclusion was drawn by doing a statistical analysis of the questionnaire. The results revealed that the elements of the Islamic Republic of Iran's soft power were very influential in preventing the domination system from launching a military offensive against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The conducted studies show that in national environments the factors like faith in God and spirituality, trust in God and the Divine Succour, being hopeful that triumph will come and not letting disappointment to affect, martyrdom spirit and self-sacrifice and believing the principle of 'guardianship of the Islamic jurist', and in transnational environments, factors like strategic depth in sensitive and important areas of the world, the propagation of the idea of 'revolutionary Islam' in the world, supporting the liberating movements and the oppressed of the world have been among the most influential factors in preventing military offensives on the part of the domination system.
