Title

Assessment of Causal Relationship Between Student's Perception of The Teaching Quality of Faculty Members and Their Self – Directed Learning Using Structural Equation Modeling

Abstract

 Aims: The purpose of this research assessment of causal relationship between students' perception of the teaching quality of Faculty Members and their SLD. Methods: Present research is practical and its method was descriptive correlative. Statistical population of the research included all BA and MA students from fields of education in university of Isfahan totaled 363 persons in year 2016-2017. The sample size was selected totaled 186 persons based on Krejcie and Morgan table. Sampling method was proportional stratified random sampling. The research instruments were 2 questionnaires: Self-directed Learning Williamson (2007), Teaching quality Seraj (2002). Their reliability and validity were examined and approved. Conclusion: findings showed that Student's SLD and Teaching quality of faculty is medium-high; and graduate students use self-directed strategies more than undergraduates.
