Abstract

Asadi’ s Style="font-Style:inherit;color:#ff0078">Garshasb Nameh is the continuation of Epic poetry in the 5th century and is among of the most valuable epic literary works which was introduced to Persian literature. Style="font-Style:inherit;color:#ff0078">Garshasb Nameh is regarded as the most successful follower of Shahnameh of Ferdowsi. This poetry compilation is of great prominence regarding its ligual and Literary Structure and is filled up with Khorasani poetry Style’ s features and characteristics and is regarded renowned and prominent. The present study is of library research nature, and examines Style="font-Style:inherit;color:#ff0078">Garshasb Nameh’ s lingual and Literary Structure, written by Asadi Toosi. The most important stylistic and lingual features of the book are as follows: using “ Aba, Abr, Abi” instead of “ Ba, Bar, Bi” ; mentioning “ Koja” means “ Ke” ; Using “ Idoon” meaning “ Chonin” , and “ idar” maning Inja (here); omitting the pronouns, using various types of “ y” with verbs, making transitive the verbs with “ Alef” ; using personal pronouns instead of common pronouns. Applying strange and odd words which were current was among one other stylistic features of the book. The use of such words indicates his broad use of words. Some of these words were lost and extinct in later periods.
