Since ancient time, Persian people have been considered people who have paid attention to beauties and its wonders, and specifically, poets have played considerable part in it. Stars and planets have been instruments for Iranian renowned and great poets such as Khaghani, Anvari, Nezami, Khajooye Kermani, Manouchehri, etc. regarding such prominence, the present study through applying descriptive – analytic research, studies the most manifest and obvious semantic and imagery functions of skies in the poetry of two great and renowned classic poets, and we would examine the most manifested similarities and differences in their poetry. One of them is Manouchehri, an Iranian renowned poet of the 5th century, and the other one is Khaghani Shervani, the famous poet of the 6th century. These two poets had specific and manifested attention towards the skies, therefore are of great prominence for consideration.
