Abstract

Among various cultures throughout the world, Persian and Arabic cultures can play significant roles with their common grounds for conducting comparative researches and studies. Reason and WISDOM are among these common grounds in both cultures. AMR AL-QEYS Kendi was the pioneer of Arab literary men on one hand, and SANAEI Ghaznavi was the great poet of Persia on the other hand. AMR AL-QEYS used Jahili WISDOM through the use of the past teachings and nature as well as his own life experiences. WISDOM in the poems of SANAEI is of great abundance, and is considered one of his main poetical themes. Many of these themes root in Greek, Islamic & Persian cultures. In the present research, we have tried to examine comparatively these two poets WISDOMs in their poetries and define each one of them approach regarding WISDOM.
