Abstract

One of the cases in ancient MYTHS which was formed and has been yet in the minds of public and has been manifested in various RITUALS is the subject of DEMON and DEMONs. Regarding the case, in the present study, we have examined the concept and notion of DEMONs in mythical culture. DEMONs are examined in the pre-Islamic books and the status of DEMONs in Iran as well as DEMON in the PERSIAN LITERATURE would be analyzed through using the content analysis and library research and it would be clarified that fairies have been linked in old books with DEMONs in various forms.
