THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EFL LEARNERS' PROFICIENCY, INTELLIGENCE, AND CREATIVITY

Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to find out if there is any relationship between EFL learners'' PROFICIENCY, INTELLIGENCE, and CREATIVITY. To achieve this goal, 80 Isfahan University undergraduates were selected as subjects. Several tests were administered to measure the subjects'' PROFICIENCY, INTELLIGENCE, and CREATIVITY. Then these factors were correlated. The results showed that language PROFICIENCY correlated with INTELLIGENCE, but CREATIVITY did not correlate either with PROFICIENCY or with INTELLIGENCE. The findings of this research have some bearings for future research.
