Abstract

This article is a research concerning NOSTALGIA in the contemporary poetry of NADER NADERPUR. After searching for etymology and definition of this term according to cultural and psychological ideas I concentrated on the relationship between NOSTALGIA and literature. I then, evaluated the relationship between NOSTALGIA and memory.In personal memories of people, NOSTALGIA is used as homesickness and in social NOSTALGIA, the poet feels sad when he refers to the Iranian mythology.I have presented some poems from different poets to support the survey.
