Abstract

This study is conducted to survey the influence of personal characteristics of managers in Physical Education Organization and in Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on INNOVATION and MANAGEMENT OF OPPOSITION. The sample of the study consisted of all high level and intermediate-level managers of Physical Education Organization (n=75) and Ministry of Scienc, Research and Technology (n=85). The tools of measurement included (1) INNOVATION questionnaire of Dr.Abedl consisting of 60 three-choice questions, 2) Robin's questionnaire of MANAGEMENT OF OPPOSITION consisting of 30 seven-choice questions, and 3) the questionnaire of personal characteristics of managers consisting of 12 questions. Statistical methods used in this study included correlation coefficient of pearson, t test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, multiple regression and Chi-square test. To assure the reliability of the questionnaires, retesting was used with an interval of 20 days.
