Abstract

As the son of Molla Morad, MIRZA ZAHIRA -e- Tafreshi is one of the poets, writers, and men of the letter during the late period of Safavi Daynasti. He was living in the reign of Shah Abbas the second and Shah Soleyman and his biography can be found in Tazkar -e - Nasr Abadi, Tazkarat -al- Moaserin of Hazin Lahigi and other resources. Zahir -al- Din, has been the student of Mohaqeq Khansari, the great philosopher of SAFAVID period, and has spent some of his life in Gorgestan. His works can be divided into two categories: 1- Persian works. 2- Arabic works. Among his Arabic works we can refer to Hashieh bar Hashieh -e Sheykh -e- bahai bar TAFSIR.-e- anvar -al- Tanzil of Ghazi -e- Beyzavi. Among his literary works in Persian we can refer to SHABNAM -E- SHADAB in prose and Dibach -ye- Chaman -e- Sokhan which now is a text book in India som of his poems has been mentioned in Tazkareh -e- Nasr Abadi.
