Abstract

In this article, it has been tried to survey and criticize one of the stories presented in Mathnawi. From the researcher's viewpoint, unfortunately, those who have explained it haven't paid much attention to its details. He has put forward a new meaning and concept for one of the words in this story. This word is "kal" and those who have explained the story think of it as "bald". But the researcher has attempted to demonstrate that its real meaning is DUMBNESS. This research finding and conclusion has been obtained through a rational and narrative process.
