Abstract

In this article, it has been tried to discuss the ruins and meadows in the Persian and Arabic poetry. After a brief survey, some samples of the pre -Islamic Arabic poems) the prologue of MU' ALLAQATI SAB', along with some samples of the Persian poems concerning this theme have been presented.The greatest poets of this theme and study are MANOOCHEHRI DAMGHANI,Amir Mo'ezzi, Abdolwase' lebelli, and Lame'i Gorgani. Certain themes in the poetical works of these poets have been put forward and analyzed. At the end, a comparative study between the content features of the Arabic and Persian poetry have been done.
