Abstract

Coronary Artery disease is the most common of cardiovascular disorder. Every year about thousands of patients under go to CARDIAC CATHETERISM. The past study showed that 88% of patients have had high Anxiety. For this purpose a quasi – experiment study was performed for efficacy of TRAINING in Reduction of catherterism ANXIETY at shahid Rajaie Hospital.In this study 152 patients were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The scale of Scl 90 was used for determining intensity of Anxiety.Results indicated 88% Reduction of ANXIETY in experimental group as compared with control group (P<0.001).
