Title

Tayyib Food Indexes from the Perspective of the Holy Qur'an

Abstract

Healthy Nutrition is centeral to health. In Western schools, standards for Healthy Nutrition have been developed based on indicators derived from Western science, technology and philosophy that produce, distribute and consume food products. Therefore, it is worthwhile to address this issue from the perspective of Islamic and religious culture and to be the basis for the production of food products in the country and the Islamic world. Accordingly, the main purpose of this research is to identify and determine the indicators of Healthy Nutrition from the perspective of Islam and the Holy Qur’ an. The research was conducted by qualitative content analysis based on religious indexation and extracted and analyzed verses related to Tayyib Food in the Holy Qur’ an and expressed its indexes. Based on the findings of the research, 42 Qur’ anic verses, 45 qualitative indices, 20 dimensional indices and 5 fundamental indices were obtained. On this basis, it can be concluded that Tayyib Food, halal food, clean, pure, fragrant, delicious, pleasant, hygienic, dainty and good, which Tayyib man, in its consumption, observes moderation.
