Abstract

Hyperlipidemia is always considered as an important risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and other diseases such as pancreases.In this descriptive - analytic study we tried to detect the mean level of blood lipids and its relationship with age, sex, family history of cardiovascular diseases and different jobs.843 individuals selected as sample size 5 then their CHOLESTEROL and TG level were tested and above- mentioned variables collected using a questionnaire. Results showed that the mean level of TG and CHOLESTEROL were 166.5mg/ld and 193.4 mg/dl respectively.There was a significant relationship between TG and sex, but this relationship was not observed between sex and CHOLESTEROL, as well as there was a significant. relationship between family history of MI, specially under the age of 60, and level of CHOLESTEROL.No significant relationship was observed between age and TG or CHOLESTEROL, but between job and TG there was a significant relationship.
