Abstract

Considering the constructive role of mosques in the human resources training and political socialization, in this article, the authors have addressed the issue of governing function of "congregational Imam" (in Persian: Imam Jamaat). In this regard, the researchers' efforts were to find a practical model for offering other congregational imams by referring to the performance of Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani in the Jalili Mosque. The reason for this is that Ayatollah Mahdawi Kani has been able to integrate the personal, social and political dimensions of the Imam Jamaat in a manner consistent with the circumstances and timely requirements, and in this way he has a positive effect on the individuals and society that has been emerged to this day. For this purpose, by analyzing content and interviewing with the followers of Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani in Jalili Mosque, the spiritual, individual, and political-social aspects of his performance in the Jalili Mosque have been identified and analyzed and finally a comprehensive model is inferred and presented. In this paper, by examining the dimensions, components, and performance indicators of Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani as the Imam Jamaat in three areas of political, social and cultural affairs: we have come to the conclusion that he had specific programs and priorities for each area and finally have been enforced. And with the measures that have been taken, the Jalili Mosque in the political arena, the center of fighters against the regime and in the social sphere, the place to m.
