Abstract

 This research is aimed at designing a training and instruction model for regional commanders in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (as an example of institutional managers) by employing an interpretive structural modeling questionnaire. Hence, 40 questionnaires were distributed among the academic and organizational experts with considerable experience in the field of command and control in the IRGC. Ultimately, 32 questionnaires were collected back and were analyzed and interpreted by structural interpretation method and matrix analysis of MICMAK through the use of MATLAB software. The result of the research resulted in a 6-level model, the main foundations of which were organizational systems and culture, professors and instructors at the second level. The background, the form and instruction instruments as well as time, environment and the elements of instruction and training are placed at the next levels. Finally, the students occupy the last level as the complementary to this model. Furthermore, cluster analysis revealed that 5 components including professors, instructors, content, systems and culture are the most effective factors compared to other concepts and components of instruction and training.
