Abstract

In the Umayyad era, scientific and literary centers were divided into two types of sensible and movable centers. Reasonable sciences were sciences that were achieved through thought, and before Islam, centers were established by tribes such as Greeks, Iranians, and Syrians in the lands of Egypt and Iran, but the rational sciences are divided into the religious sciences and the literary sciences, which have been established by a legislator. In these centers, Islamic sciences, especially Quranic sciences (recitation and interpretation), jurisprudence and hadith were taught. In this article, the author examines both scientific categories.
