Abstract

Aim: The purpose of this study was to analyze the trend of Sport Tourism in Isfahan city based on STEEPV model. Methodology: The method of this descriptive-analytic study was survey. The statistical population included all faculty members and sport management students, managers of travel agencies, and experts in sport organizations in Isfahan. The number of statistical population was 483, which according to the Cochran formula 215 were selected as the sample. According to library studies, the questionnaire was designed and distributed in two parts to examine the factors and the factors beyond the control of Sport Tourism in Isfahan. After verifying the formal validity of questionnaires by experts, a strategic matrix was used to analyze the findings of this research. Results: The results showed that one of the most important social factors: increasing the share of Sport Tourism in the leisure time of the people according to their interest in Sport Tourism; technological: using the capabilities of cyberspace in the development of Sport Tourism; economic: trying to increase investment in sports tourism; boom Sport: Developing Sport Tourism to improve the environment; Political: Efforts to improve the status of international societies and values: Use of culture and identity of the city to increase athletic motivation in Sport Tourism. Conclusion: In general, it can be said that Isfahan sports should be advised about the challenges ahead and should use appropriate strategies to achieve the goals.
