Abstract

The present essay deals with comparative study of the story of ADAM after his creation and the forbidden tree in the third chapter of Genesis and the Holy Quran attempting to bring perspectives of those two books closer to one another through presenting a commentary of such phrases of the two books which can be harmonized, without any prejudice, in order to find common points, reduce apparent differences, and indicate non-distortion of Torah unless when perspectives of the two books can in no way be unified.
