Abstract

In recent decades, stunning advances in new technologies have transformed the landscape of classical wars and the emergence of concepts such as cyber warfare, information warfare, asymmetric warfare, and hybrid warfare as Future Wars. Under such circumstances, traditional structural patterns are less effective and the armed forces need to adopt network-based approaches to accomplish their tasks and missions. In light of the above, the present study seeks to present an indigenous model for Network organizations in the armed forces with a view to Future Wars. This research has a quantitative approach in terms of developmental purpose and in terms of data collection and analysis in which the researcher has extracted the dimensions, components and indices after exploratory studies and adjusted the conceptual model of the research. The model was then tested and validated based on the opinions of 90 commanders, senior executives, theorists, and defense and security experts.
