Abstract

 After Islamic revolution in Iran, IRI’ s (Islamic Republic of Iran) enemies have done their best to demolish Iranian state. Thiese enemies have frequently used force to achieve their political goals, so it could be forseenable to do the same against IRI, which obviously will be started by air attack. There is no doubt that IRI armed forces should be well-prepared to respond against any air threat. To gain best effects and crash enemy’ s will, such preparation should be coincided with a strategic model. Researcher has concerned if it is supposed to compare IRI air power and its foes, which kind of model should be consider to measure air power? And how this model could be able to clarify amount of air power which is required to make a Strategic Balance and generate influencing capability? The whole purpose of this research is: “ to achieve strategic model for IRI air power which is providing effect-balance over enemies” . Research has been done by descriptive method (field-case study) in a mixed framework (qualitized & qualified). Statistical group compromised of air power strategists which, in turn, considered as the sample group. Final result is extracted by presenting a three-dimention model for measuring IRI air power which is providing effect-balance over enemies. This model compromised of strategic, operational and tactical dimentions, which is consisted of their respective factors and indexes and also has presented compliance of air power’ s dimentions with together, shape of extracted air power’ s space, congruency and spectrum of air power factors, trend of air power factor’ s variation and finally, appropriateness between air power factors and IRI air power dimentions. At the epiluge of this research, an equation has been presented to measure IRI air power, generating effect-base against the foes.
