Abstract

 Introduction: The increasing developments of technology have led to the emergence of cybernetics, to the some extent that these networks would affect on many parts of students’ individual and social lives, and also influence their social security as well. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effect of cybernetics on knowledge, attitude and social behavior of high school students. Method: The research methodology is descriptive-correlation. The statistical population of the study consists of all 1200 high school students Out of this number, 234 were selected using random sampling method according to Morgan table. The data was collected through a questionnaire of social networking, knowledge, attitude and social behavior. In this research, data analysis was performed by descriptive analysis (frequency, percentage of frequency, standard deviation, and mean value) and inferential analysis (Spearman correlation test). Findings: The findings have shown that there is a positive and significant relationship between the use of social networks and social attitudes of students. There is also a negative and significant relationship between the use of social networks and knowledge, and also social behavior of students. Conclusion: The results have represented the social dimensions of student’ s lives affected by the use of social networks and increased their social attitude and social security which is a source of confidence for them in the community, but it negatively affected their social knowledge and behavior, reduced their social knowledge and caused their social behavior to deteriorate.
