Abstract

 Introduction: premenstrual Syndrome in women generally affects mental health, and Stresses and consequences of this make it difficult for a person to adapt and resonate. The purpose of this study was to compare the dimensions of Social Adjustment, Stress and resiliency in women with premenstrual Syndrome and women without this syndrome. Objective: The comparison of Social Adjustment, Stress and resiliency in women with premenstrual Syndrome and normal. Materials and Methods: This is a comparative study conducted on a statistical population consisting of women with premenstrual Syndrome and women without this syndrome in Lahijan city in 1396. PMS symptoms questionnaire was used to select PMs. Therefore, the sample included 150 patients (75 women with syndrome and 75 non-infected women) who were selected by available sampling method and were selected using Social Adjustment (SAS), perceived Stress and persistence of Conner and David Sven was examined. For data analysis, variance analysis was used. Results: The results of multivariate analysis of variance showed that there is a significant difference in the dimensions of husband's adjustment and compatibility as a member of family unit, Resilience and perceived Stress among women with premenstrual Syndrome and non-infected counterparts. . Conclusion: The premenstrual Syndrome and the severity of its symptoms are affected by the Stress and Resilience of women, which affects their compatibility in normal conditions of life. Therefore, by identifying the effects of PMS on daily life and attempting to reduce its negative effects, the field for increasing the compatibility and dimensions of women's mental health can be provided.
