Abstract

 This article, examines Public transportation policy in Tehran, presenting appropriate policy package. Based on available data, policy makers values private transportation than public. So, according cost-benefit analysis, people choose private car more often. To amend this situation, a change in policy makers attitudes is necessary as well as a coordinated, integrated policy package for transportation. Because changing some factors while keeping others fixed even may deteriorate present condition.
