Abstract

Objectives: The purpose of this article is to extract the components of the concept of "Social Current" and "Study of (Social) Currents" from the theories of scholars. Method: This article is written by descriptive and analytical method and by using library resources. And the approach is second-rate (Scientific Philosophy). Results: Seven components of "Current" were developed from the viewpoints of the thinkers. They can provide a complete definition of "Study of currents". Conclusion: "Study of (Social) Currents" is a new approach to teaching and researching historical, intellectual, and cultural topics. Unlike traditional methods, this approach is both appealing to audiences and close to the application stage. Based on the extracted components, the optimal definition of "Current" and "Study of currents" is formulated.
