The questionnaire was administered before and 8 weeks after intervention. SPSS software test the statistical Paired t-test was used to compare the scores before and after treatment. Results: Mean DEPRESSION score significantly decreased after 8 weeks of fenugreek (containing diosgenin) and sorbitol administration as compared with the period before intervention. However, the comparison did not indicate a significant difference between these two groups. Conclusion: According to the finding of this study, administration of 6 g fenugreek seed containing diosgenin for 8 weeks decreases menopausal DEPRESSION.
