Abstract

Background and Aim: The advent of the computer and then the virtual world of the Internet has always had many positive and negative effects. Adverse consequences include the emergence of cyber and computer Violence against Women. The purpose of the present study was to analyze the content of violent Messages against Women in the Telegram channels of Ardabil province. Method: The content analysis method was used and the basis of the research themes was exploratory study of violent Messages against Women in Telegram channels. The statistical population of the study consisted of all Telegram channels in Ardabil province. After the initial screening, there were 20 channels that contained violent themes against Women and The criteria for the study were selected as sample. Findings: The findings showed that Women were more likely to be exposed to non-sexual Violence And then there's sexual and offline Violence. Among the non-sexual Violence Messages against Women, the most prevalent was emotional and psychological Violence. Conclusion: In general it can be said Although social networking is one of the manifestations of progress in this century But these networks can be several pregnant Violence against Women.
