Abstract

Contemporary poem from the appearance has the message of new values for the mankind so that the scrutiny makes us closer to the outlook of contemporary human being. In addition to the aesthetic aspect, a reader’s expectation of a poet is consideration to the human valuable objects. By reading a poem we can understand whether the poet has paid attention to the topics or not; or if the poet has forgotten the pain of the people. Since one of the most prominent features of the CONTEMPORARY POEM is its social content, in this paper, I am tending to study and analyze GLOBAL MESSAGES of two poets: NIMA YOUSHIJ, and GHEISAR AMINPOOR. These poets composed poems in social, political and lyric aspects and due to that they have some similar poems. Then, besides mentioning the similarities and differences, frequency of their global poems will be conveyed in order to show how much they are successful to be as global poets.
