Abstract

Mahboubeh Esmaeili is one of the successful poets of Hormozgan. She is an M. A. of Persian Literature. The main theme in her Poetry is Femininity. This characteristic is mostly manifested in more of her sonnets and quatrains. If we follow her Poetry’ s course, we can clearly observe that such thinking pattern is obvious from the first part of her Poetry up to the end of her Poetry. However, there is a difference that the manifestation of such characteristic is not the same throughout all of her Poems, and generally speaking, we face a poet who is expressing humanistic thoughts, her personal pains, suffering and feminine emotions, who is at the same time a dynamic person. The present study examines the Femininity of her Poetry in her sonnets as well as her quatrains by means of content analysis through the method of library research. It would be clarified that the Femininity sense and element, respect for Love, and objection of some discriminations are observed in her Poetry. For the mentioned reason, a true introduction of her literary works can find her many audience among the people, especially among women.
