Pages

  159-181

Abstract

Background and Aim: One of the consequences of women’ s entry into the labor market is the prevalence of some male behaviors in this group, which is Addiction. Given that women’ s Addiction is different from men, the purpose of this study is to better understand the Addiction of women as a cycle of conditions, interactions and outcomes from the point of view of ordinary citizens and addicted women who come to Addiction treatment camps. Method: This research is qualitative and has been used as a grounding theory for its implementation. The research community has been formed by ordinary citizens and addicted women who are referred to Addiction treatment camps in the Alborz province. Contrasting with the standard saturation criterion, 29 people from the province and 27 addicted women have participated in the study. Data were analyzed using deep interviewing technique and then content analysis. Findings and Results: The research showed that the views of ordinary people and addicted women are closely related to the cycle of Addiction, and there is an interpretative and semantic contribution in this area between the two groups. The findings of this study were categorized into 15 major categories, focusing on the underlying conditions, causative conditions, conditions of intervention, interaction, and outcomes, and it was found that women’ s Addiction derives from social, cultural, economic, and family disruptions and an act of escape From the pressures and confrontation with a host of bitter and painful consequences, such as hot shame and social exclusion and a recursive look.
